I'm Brandon, and this is my wife, Mackenzie. Together we are Bran-a-Mack Photography; a San Diego-based couple here to shoot your next big event.
My passion for photography started a few years ago when we both took a mission trip to Africa. While I only brought my iPhone, a friend on the trip brought his full camera setup; needless to say, my photos did not match the quality of his. Not to disregard the power and quality of modern phone cameras, but once we returned from the trip, I felt as if those beautiful moments could--or should--have been captured using better equipment; so, I bought a camera. Moving to the San Diego area has graced both my wife and I with many unbeatable locations for weddings, maternity shoots, and other special occasions. Since moving here, our mission remains to capture life's most beautiful moments using high-quality gear and a number of different styles; whether in black and white, with a film-like approach, or even in infrared. Where are you based and do you travel for shoots?
We're based in San Diego, California, but we're more than happy to join you wherever your next adventure is whether that be in state or abroad.
How would you describe your photography style?
We try to capture emotion and connection as much as possible; we want you to be able to feel the same way you did looking back on your photos whether that be days or years in the future. We try to stay flexible with our shooting styles, generally going for a colorful-filmic look and featuring other styles such as black and white and sometimes infared!
What all services do you offer?
We focus on photography as that's where most of our experience lies. We cover events such as weddings, engagements, family photos, couple photos, baby sessions, elopements, maternity shoots, graduations, military deployments/reunions, and more.
How many photos will we receive, and delivered?
The amount of photos will vary depending on the desired package. We may deliver a few different angles of any one special moment, but we try to avoid sending multiple, similar photos and try to choose the best one-or-two of any moment.
The photos will be available on an online gallery that will be free for the first 30-days. Here you'll be able to download or even order prints and framed versions of the photos you love. After that first 30-days, the Clients will be given the option to fund the website themselves to keep the website up and running.
How far in advance should we book you?
Weddings and elopements are often booked 6–12 months in advance. For smaller sessions, a few weeks’ notice is usually enough.
Both of our primary jobs limit our availability to 2/4 weekends per month so the sooner the better!
Do you offer custom packages?
Absolutely. Every love story is unique, so I’m happy to tailor a package that fits your needs and vision.
